An official from Myanmar Nway-Oo University visited to Tanintharyi Region and met with university students and high school graduates to initiate “Learning Centers” and shared information about university, Myanmar Education System (MES), the university learning platform, and other teaching and learning methods. 

Myanmar Nway-Oo University provides both online and on-site education for university students and high school graduates to continue their education. Currently, the university is running the “3K on-site campus” for students from conflict areas, and we are trying to open “Learning Centers” in those areas to carry out teaching activities.

The Faculties members effected due to the Sagaing Earthquake on 28-3-2025 are supported by MNOU. MNOU supported one amount to them for the affecting earthquake of theirs owns from the “Emergency Fund for Earthquake and Natural disasters” of university.
250000  kyats (1), 200000 kyats (3), 150000 kyats (1), 100000 kyats (1) Total 6) persons are supported .
Myanmar Nway-Oo University is always making efforts to support and resolve the difficulties of faculties members as much as possible.

Myanmar Nway-Oo University and the University of Santo Tomas (UST) of the Philippines hold a meeting to discuss academic cooperation

Myanmar Nway-Oo University, members of the University Council, and officials from the International Relations Office met with the Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Letters, Coordinator for International Relations, and officials from the University of Santo Tomas in Manila, Philippines, to discuss long-term cooperation between the two universities.During the meeting, the officials discussed and agreed on the following: 1) Initial collaboration in teaching/learning, training programs, and capacity building programs; 2) Signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the two universities and ongoing collaboration; 3) Collaboration in student exchange and faculty strengthening; 4) Creating long-term opportunities for CDM students; 5) Accepting graduates from Myanmar Nway-Oo University to continue their education at UST. 

Myanmar Nway-Oo University is working to establish long-term collaboration with the University of Santo Tomas (UST) for educational opportunities for CDM students, and is also working to collaborate with other universities.
