Celebrating 2nd Graduation

Myanmar Nway-Oo University (MNOU) held its second convocation ceremony on 8.8.2025 at 9:00 am, celebrating the achievements of its graduates, who stand courageously for diversity. Educational deputy minister, Dr. Sai Khaing Myo Tun, chancellors, teachers, graduates and all the members of MNOU gathered at the event to witness this significant milestone. In the ceremony, One faculty member read the message from the Union Prime Minister of National Unity Government of Myanmar and held according to the traditional procedure of Convocation ceremony. Before the ceremony began, in a designated private room, the respective professors formally proposed to the rector for the conferment of six different types of degrees to be awarded at the second graduation ceremony of Myanmar Nway-Oo University. The chancellor then sought the approval of the academic board for the conferment of these degrees. Ceremony opened with Wutawyone song and then we all kept still with the national anthem. The ceremony began when the university’s chancellor professed, with an inspiring speech from educational ministers and faculty members, encouraging graduates to pursue their dreams. The chancellor administered the oath of commitment to the graduates, conferred the degree certificates, and granted permission for them to wear the academic gowns appropriate to their respective degrees. After the proceedings, a student representative delivered a speech of gratitude on behalf of the graduates. Followed by a closing remark from a deputy rector, the ceremony was concluded successfully. At this graduation ceremony, MNOU awarded (513) graduates for (8) Degree programs. (6) Bachelor of Arts (Honours) BA (Hons) recipients, (33) Bachelor of Science (Honours) BSc (Hons), (404) Bachelor of Arts (BA) recipients, (48) Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) recipients, (2)Bachelor of Laws (LLB) recipients, (4) Bachelor of Economics (Economics) BEcon (Eco) recipients , (4) Bachelor of Public Administration (BPA) recipients and (12) Diploma in Social Science recipients were awarded degrees. Myanmar Nway-Oo University awarded (105) graduates in First Convocation and (513) graduates in Second Convocation, Total (618) graduates are awarded by MNOU. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the Myanmar Nway-Oo University’s Second Graduation Ceremony Organizing Committee, as well as all the respected teachers and members who participated and contributed to the success of this second graduation ceremony.
